People of Pittsburgh will be an ongoing short documentary web series highlighting fascinating people around town. These 3-5 minute documentaries will present interesting Pittsburghers from all walks of life and all its communities. I’ll discover what makes them unique, whether it’s their personality, their job, or something different altogether. These videos will be expertly shot and stylistically edited to create an engaging portrait of the people of Pittsburgh. Through this human lens, the continuing series will also be able to examine Pittsburgh’s unique culture and history.
Through my work producing and editing documentary projects at Argentine Productions, our focus on telling real-life stories led me to look closer to home for inspiration. In the last few years living in Pittsburgh I’ve met many interesting people from all over town, and decided that I wanted to investigate their stories. This is a project that I’m personally invested in and that I know others will enjoy watching.
